Europol / EU Reporting Guide
Europol does not accept direct reports from individuals. To get your case into the European system, you must file a report with your national police.
Europol then coordinates these cases via the EC3 (European Cybercrime Centre).
Why report to Europol?
Reporting helps EU law enforcement track cross-border criminal networks and freeze assets on European exchanges.
1. Find Your Local Authority
Visit the Europol - Report Cybercrime Online directory.
Select your country to find the official national reporting portal.
2. Filing the Report
Description of Incident
You need to provide a clear, technical description without unnecessary emotion.
Use the Master Statement:
To ensure your report is linked to the broader investigation, review and (if you find it consistent) use text we prepared in incident/summary.
